Description
A quintessential English countryside. I shot this around 2 hours ago, under moonlight. It's bitterly cold outside, but the contrast between the tree and the windmill was too nice to miss out on.

The colour background really does portray the sundown at its very best. The warm colour of the sun coming down and the dulled blue as night awakes is mixed nicely, meaning the timing of this photo couldn't have come at a better time.
I like the separation of the two main subjects in this photo, the tree and the windmill. While this gives a great example of how depth of field can be used (despite there not being any), trees have always been a terrific inspiration to me; the way they grow towards the sun like fingers grasping at the light has always been appealing.
As for the photo itself, the artist has taken great opportunity and snapped this time of day perfectly. The colour palette is nicely defined with the warm vs cold colours and the silhouettes forming atop the subjects is perfect.
