High Key Geese

I shot this photograph this afternoon. The skies were very overcast and gray, and the lake I was shooting at was populated by many birds, with plenty of aerial activity. I decided to raise the ISO level to 800, with the intention of whiting out the gray skies, and isolating the subjects.

As I was shooting away, I noticed two flocks of Geese approaching, one around 50 yards away, the other 100. I realized they would be crossing paths, and decided it might make for a crowded composition, and something different. I shot a few frames, and on the third shot I noticed that there were four birds in a perfect vertical composition. High key abstract wildlife photography, that's a new one for me!
